The end of August and heading into September will bring so many continuations of addictive series. As I have waited impatiently for some of my preorders to come my way, I also made a trip to the bookstore for a general browse. Not unexpectedly there are already plenty on the shelves to catch my eye. Here are some new additions to the to-read list:
by Anna Michels
A YA-contemp with a lead looking to blow off some heartbreak with a kissing spree. Sounds ripe for hilarious antics.
The Lost Daughter
by Lucretia Grindle
The mystery of a lost girl who must be unearthed by navigating the maze of Florence's streets. In the mood for a chilling read?
Draw the Line
by Laurent Linn
A young artist's journey to fight hate with graphics. Sounds like an interesting read for some LGBTQ bravery.
I Am Princess X
by Cherie Priest
A mysterious missing person, an underground webcomic, and a best friend who's on the case. This story, told in prose and pictures, definitely gripped my attention with its dark tones.
